Great beginnings! Once you arrive home, park your car in the oversized 1-car garage before you make your way inside. An inviting living room has a large picture window which allows the sunlight to glisten over the hardwood floors. A fan above keeps the space cool and circulated. The efficient kitchen makes cooking a breeze, with easy clean up tile flooring, freshly painted cabinets, a new oven, plus the refrigerator stays. Tile backsplash adds a touch of style and the new countertops make a statement. Sumptuous comfort and coziness characterize the 2 bedrooms located on the main level. The updated bathroom boasts a new vanity and tile flooring. The lower level boost with a spacious 3rd bedroom with an egress window, a full bath, and an additional family room with space to make the room “yours”. The washer and dryer also stay with the property! Head outdoors to a large backyard and updated landscaping. Relish in spending time on the paver patio with the warmth of the firepit on cool fall evenings or entertaining in the summertime. Get your extra veggies straight from the garden yourself! While you are out there, you will notice the newer roof and steel siding. Other updates include a freshly painted front deck, a newer heat exchange, newer A/C, and a newer sewer main from the house to the street. Have peace of mind and security with the ADT Security System alerting you of motion, Co2, fire or any burglary activity. For more information, visit www.KWJacobsen.com.

Ask almost any citizen of Omaha about the Benson area and their reply will be that “Benson’s Back” not that it’s ever really been gone. But there’s a new vibrancy and energy along Maple Street that is attracting an eclectic clientele—foodies, musicians, lovers of music and people of all ages who enjoy having a good time.
In the late 1887’s Benson Place was established as its own entity northwest of the city of Omaha by Erastus Benson, a land speculator and investor. By 1917 the population had grown to over 5,000 people and was annexed by the city of Omaha. At that time, the town was the site of many well maintained houses of various styles and sizes and had an active main street. It was also home to many churches and progressive schools, which were a terrific addition to the city.
Today, the area is family friendly with homes that are affordable for first time buyers. And with revitalization of the area’s core streets and membership in the Benson Ames Business Alliance, it appears that the future is bright for the Benson area.
